MTC After School

Meet Amy, a passionate educator who hails from Brooklyn, New York, and has called Miami home for over two decades. With over 30 years of experience in teaching dance and theater, Amy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her students. For the past 15 years, she has specialized in teaching musical theater and dance, incorporating social skills development and confidence building into her lessons. Now, Amy is excited to take on the After School Program at MTC, where she will continue to inspire and empower young minds through the magic of theater and dance.

Calling all young performers! If your child dreams of being part of a full-scale musical theater production, this program is tailor-made for them. Rehearsals take place throughout the year; participants will have the incredible opportunity to star in a musical theater production that will be showcased on the prestigious MTC main stage. AGE RANGE: 8 to 12-years-old

DAYS OF THE WEEK: Mondays & Wednesdays (participants must commit to full to both rehearsal days)

TIME: 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

FEE: $2,850 (tution is non refundable after the 1st week of program commencing)

Spotlight Kids Sr. is the next step for passionate young performers ready to take center stage. Designed for teens ages 13 - 15, this audition-based program gives students just 12 weeks to rehearse and produce a full-scale musical theater production. Led by Ms. Amy, whose expertise and vision guide the process, Spotlight Kids Sr. is where dedicated performers grow as artists, build leadership skills, and shine in a professional-style theatrical experience. Look out for audition dates to be posted.

AGE RANGE: 13 to 15-years-old

TIME: 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm
