PANEL MODERATOR:
Betsy Wise, Owner and Chief Creative Officer, Wise Branding Group
Betsy has, herself, felt a little bit like Alice. Navigating a circuitous and unconventional career, she’s encountered an occasional White Rabbit, Mad Hatter and Queen of Hearts along her professional path. She trained as an actor at Circle in the Square in New York, and later toured as a stand-up comedian for ten years. That was only after realizing she wasn't passionate about her initial chosen profession – as a commercial litigator. These experiences, along with the parenting she enjoyed from her adolescent psychiatrist father and LCSW, PhD mother will serve Betsy well as she and the panelists explore the complexities of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Currently, Betsy serves part-time as a Director of Verbal identity at Interbrand, NY. Before that she led recruitment efforts for all of Verizon Communications' businesses at TMP Worldwide.  Today, she runs her own branding and advertising consultancy, Wise Branding Group, where she helps businesses large and small find their strategic heart, and express it creatively, economically and effectively.
